Trusty Working Dog Diets – Feeding Guidelines

Trusty Working Dog Completes have been produced to very high nutritional standards, and will stand feeding comparison with many, more widely advertised, and so called equivalent ‘Premium’ products.

The daily amount fed to an individual dog will vary according to breed, size, age, activity levels, metabolism, and living conditions.
Colder conditions will result in the dog(s) requiring a higher food input, to be converted into ‘heat’ energy.

Always feed more than the normal daily input, during and following periods of increased working activities.

Here is a calculation to show how the guidelines feeding amounts are acheived:

1/4oz of dry dog food per lb of dog weight
e.g. 44lb dog = 11oz of food		or16g per kilo of dog weight
e.g. 20kg dog = 320gms food

The following chart is therefore for guidance only, and will probably slightly overstate the required daily ration.
